Rounded up some more January, February and March J-Pop releases I thought I’d share! This precedes a post, I’ll update on Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae and Toaru Majutsu no Index, I’ve watched Episode 13 twice! Been busy over the holidays and such, basically, which is the excuse for my lack of posts as of late.
- Ayumi (limited ed. includes DVD); GReeeeN
Release Date: January 28, 2009
Limited edition available with DVD. - Answer; Angela Aki
Release Date: February 25, 2009
Angela’s third album, including “Tegami – Haikei Jugo no Kimi e -” (“Heaven’s Door” theme song), and a Japanese cover of Bob Dylan’s “Knock’in on Heaven’s Door,” as well as a Japanese cover of Boz Scaggs’ “We’re All Alone” , and the DVD includes karaoke vids, PVs, footage and documentary. I remember her from a few songs pertaining to Final Fantasy XII, but other than that I never really got into her. But I can definitely see how one would like her style, and her awesome voice. Haven’t seen many of Mika’s PVs or listened to many of her CDs, but I know of Life, Eien no Uta, and such. Her newest singles’ PVs are on this DVD, and making-of footage, TV spots, etc. which makes this a very PV-full and interesting DVD for fans.
P.S. Did I mention how awesome MyAnimeList.net is?! You can see how many – or how few, rather – anime series I’ve watched, dropped, am watching, re-watching etc…! It’s really cool…. My list is here.
